Unity Missionary Baptist Church

Bro. Dillon lived in Saffell, AR all of his life. He was saved at 10 years old and became a member of Saffell Missionary Baptist Church. He served in his church as a teacher and doing maintenance. Bro. Dillon surrendered to the ministry at age 21. He  married his wife, Hanna, on December 16, 2023. He loves spending time with his family. His favorite Bible verse is: I Corinthians 1:18 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Bro. Dillon was called as pastor of Unity on February 11th,  and his first Sunday as pastor was February 18, 2023.    

Beverly has lived in DeWitt all of her life. She married her husband, Bob, in 1974. They have two children, Jon and Bethany, and four grandchildren, Kaylee, Evan, Hali and Hollyn. Beverly loves getting to spend time with her family and getting to watch the grandchildren in church, school and sports activities. 

Beverly has been a member of Unity since 1986. She also works in the Community Clothes Closet, helps with Operation Christmas Child, and a member of the Women's Ministry. Favorite verse is: Galatians 2:20 " I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Perry was saved and has been a member of Unity since 1970. He has served as choir director several different times. He is married to Kay. They have four sons: Brian and Jarad Simpson, and Brian and Kyle Denton, and six grandchildren: Rylee and Emilee Simpson and Payton, Carter and Addie Denton.

Perry is retired from Heritage Ag and enjoys camping, hunting and fishing. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing: but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus". 

Bob and his wife, Beverly, were married in 1974, and have lived in DeWitt since. He enjoys spending time with his family and church family. Bob and Beverly have two grown children, Jon Watson and Bethany Watkins, and four grandchildren. Jon has two children, Kaylee and Evan. Bethany and Mat have two daughters: Hali and Hollyn. The grandchildren keep them busy with softball, basketball, gymnastics and other activities. Bob loves every minute spent with them! 

Bob has been a member of Unity since December 1986. He was ordained as a deacon on September 1, 1989. He served as treasurer for 25+ years and is now assistant treasurer.  He is the teacher of the Cornerstone Sunday School Class. Favorite verse is: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." 

Adam, "Frankie" Hargrove, Jr. and his wife, Sherrie have one son, Bradley, and three grandchildren: Reese, Riley and Barnes. Frankie is a retired farmer. They became members of Unity in July, 1992. Frankie became a deacon at Unity on July 12, 1992. He is the teacher for the "Friends in Faith" Sunday School Class. He has two favorite Bible verses: Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you" and I Cor. 2:9 "But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

You can always depend on Frankie for any "handyman" work that needs to be done around the church, from repairs to props for VBS and cooking meals on Wednesday night.  

Jerry and his wife, Norma, have been married since March, 1986. He has two daughters, Jennifer and Jill. Jerry and Norma joined Unity in May, 2003. He is a big truck owner/operator. In his spare time he enjoys camping and being in the outdoors.

Jerry became a deacon at Unity on July 9, 2017. His favorite verse is: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." He has been a member of two churches, Landmark Baptist Church and Unity, both in DeWitt.

Terry was saved and became a member of Unity on April 16, 1967. He has been married to his wife, Rena, for 44 years. Their son, Brandon and his wife, Marissa, have three children: Caden, Maddux and Londen.

Terry is retired form the U. S Postal Service. He enjoys hunting, fishing and anything that involves his grandsons. His favorite Bible verse is: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
